After graduating from a $50,000+/year private liberal arts college (thanks to A LOT of financial aid and generosity from my parents), I am officially a college graduate. Armed with a car and a few thousand dollars in savings, I am embarking on a new adventure. I have no job and no home. I’m living in my car and couch surfing when possible. 

I highly doubt anyone but my family will read any of this, but I’m documenting everything in hopes that something will eventually turn into a story I can tell my future children and grandchildren.

Day #1

Pitzer gave us less than 24 hours to move our stuff and get off campus after graduation. Check out time was noon. My roommate and I checkout out at 11:58am. Success. 

With my parents gone, I drove to Pasadena for a friend’s graduation party. There I learned that I am not the only sad, unemployed college students. I felt a little better about life. I ate A LOT of free food. 

RealizingI had nothing to do and no where to go, I ended up back in the Pitzer Parking lot because they have great wifi. I watched Netflix for awhile. 

Thankfully, my old roommate let me sleep on the couch of her grandmother’s hotel room. 

I started the year living in Quito, Ecuador and ended it onset of After Romeo’s first official MV. 2012 has been the best and most successful year of my life thus far.

I am so thankful for the people I’ve had the honor to work with and the experiences I’ve found my self lucky enough to be a part of this year. I’ve lived in Ecuador, worked on music videos, met and taken pictures of amazing people, had internships, been in music videos, made some incredible friends, and so much more.

January- May- Studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador.

June- I met some hot hot hotties also known as After Romeo, took a few photos of their new band, met their friend Dave, and so starts my adventures in the LA Entertainment Industry. 

July- Got to take some sick pictures of huge artists and celebrities like Josh Hutcherson and Far East Movement through my job as a Photographer for Guest of a Guest LA.

August- Hung out on the set of Chad Future’s UNSTOPPABLE MV.

September- Shot TedX in Claremont, joined the PR team at Pitzer

October- Helped out on another Chad Future MV, seriously considered changing career paths.

November- Helped out with Chad Future’s CRAYON English Remix

December- My life came full circle as a PA on the set of After Romeo’s first official MV, directed by DL.
